Leander, northwest of Austin along US 183 and the 183A toll road, is one of the area’s fastest-growing cities and a favorite for buyers who want newer homes and strong schools at a price that still makes sense.
It’s the northern end of Capital Metro’s MetroRail Red Line, which is rare for an Austin suburb, and Leander ISD is a big draw for families. Most housing is newer construction in master-planned communities, with Lake Travis and the Hill Country a short drive west.
With this much new inventory, builder incentives and resale pricing can shift quickly. I’ll keep you on the right side of both.
